Weekly Meal Planning

What is the first thing you think about when you wake up in the morning?  If you are like me, it is probably something to do with "What's for Dinner?"  In my house, dinner is my responsibility and as a busy wife and mother, it can be very stressful to put an appetizing, healthy meal on the table.

One way to solve this problem is to have a weekly or monthly meal plan.  An easy way to do this is to scour the internet, cookbooks and magazines and find recipes that may appeal to your family.  You can check in the pantry and see what ingredients are already available and build your meals that way.  Think of the kind of meals your family likes and the ways you can spruce them up to make meal time more fun.

Another way to easily plan weekly or monthly meals is to use a meal preparation kitchen like Entrees4U in Raleigh, NC.  Entrees4U offers 14 different entrees every month using chicken, beef, pork, seafood and vegetarian options.  We are also able to accomodate people who are gluten free.  In addition to our entrees, we offer appetizers, sides, desserts, fresh salads, soups and even breakfast items.

Money saving packages are available.  Since all of our food is designed to be frozen, thawed and cooked, you are able to fill your freezer for a very reasonable amount.  Everything is packaged in disposable containers and contain labels with cooking instructions.  Even the kids can start dinner before you get home from work.  Or, you can put your food in the oven and enjoy a nice beverage to relax while it is cooking.  And clean-up is a breeze.

What am I having for dinner tonight?  I will be enjoying Pesto Parmesan Chicken and Harvest Corn Casserole.  Tomorrow night is Chimichurri Flank Steak with Twice Baked Potatoes and later this week, I will be having our newest entree:  Vegetarian Black Bean Burritos.
